Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov stressed on Thursday that the counterterrorism mission in Syria has not been completed yet despite the fact that the security situation in several cities has improved.

Bogdanov added that the final date of the high-ranking meeting on Syria in Sochi has not been identified yet, adding that “Syria is a sovereign state that chooses the party that helps it in the war on terrorism.”
