In details, the Palestinian Ministry of Health has confirmed the tragic loss of eight Palestinian lives in the West Bank, with many others sustaining injuries, including severe cases, during confrontations that erupted as Israeli occupation forces entered the Jenin camp on Thursday morning.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has reported that an ambulance was targeted by live bullets in Jenin, resulting in injuries to a medical staff member. Confrontations included armed clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters, with the Israeli army utilizing a drone to strike a camp location.
Occupation forces used a drone to target several young men in Jenin camp, hindering medical teams from reaching and evacuating the wounded. An ambulance from the Palestinian Red Crescent was also fired upon in Jenin, causing a paramedic to sustain gunshot wounds to the back.
Israeli forces entered the camp with substantial reinforcements and a military bulldozer, approaching from multiple directions. Snipers took positions on the rooftops of several buildings overlooking the camp, while the bulldozer damaged streets and infrastructure in the camp and its surroundings.
Reports indicate that the occupation forces encircled the Martyr Khalil Suleiman Governmental Hospital in Jenin, firing at any movement, including ambulances. More Israeli reinforcements are being deployed to Jenin and its camp, supported by military bulldozers, with intense Israeli aircraft activity in the sky.
Prior to this, the Palestinian Ministry of Health had announced that four injured individuals were admitted to Jenin Governmental Hospital, including two in serious condition, and one to Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital.
In a separate development, the Lions’ Den groups in the West Bank claimed responsibility for over fourteen shooting attacks in and around the Nablus area. Their operations targeted several locations, and they expressed their commitment to the Palestinian resistance leaders.
Furthermore, a separate shooting incident near the “Gitit” settlement east of Nablus resulted in injuries to two settlers. Occupation forces swiftly launched operations and checkpoints in nearby towns following the incident.
