Lebanon’s General Security announced it had banned Kuwaiti TV host, Fajr Al-Saeed, from entering Lebanon after she arrived at Beirut International Airport on Wednesday, June 7, evening.
In a statement, the General Security mentioned that Al-Saeed applied for a visa at the airport, adding that, upon scrutinizing her official documents, it appeared that a memorandum had been issued in order to prevent her from entering Lebanon.
The statement indicated that the procedures related to the entry of the foreigners are entrusted with the General Security exclusively.
It is worth noting that Al-Saeed has been promoting for the normalization of ties with the Zionist entity and has entered the occupied Palestinian territories in support of ‘Israel’.
The Lebanese law does not allow the General Security border offices to endorse any passport that is already endorsed by the Israeli occupation authorities.
For his part, head of the national anti-normalization committee Abdul Malik Sukkariya said that General Security’s move will recur in all the cases of the persons who have Israeli signatures on their passports.
