For the second consecutive day, the Israeli occupation forces conducted a raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday night, during the religious observance of Itikaf.
The raid resulted in the brutal assault of worshippers and Palestinians present at the holy site. Unarmed worshippers were targeted with rubber bullets and smoke grenades, while the occupation forces chased them down and attacked them in the courtyards of the mosque.
In addition, Israeli occupation forces surrounded Al-Qibli prayer hall in an attempt to prevent Palestinians from taking rest in the sacred site.
These forces stationed at Lions Gate are also denying entry to Palestinians at both the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestinian sources reported.

However, the IOF attacked Palestinians marching in Umm Al-Fahm, after they condemned the Israeli occupation’s crimes against Al-Aqsa and its people. The demonstrators displayed banners to show their solidarity with those in the Mosque, but the occupation forces suppressed the gathering by confiscating banners, arresting a girl and beating participants.
At the same time, similar marches were held in other areas, including Gaza Strip, occupied Jerusalem, and the territories occupied in 1948. As night-time activities began, Palestinians detonated sound grenades in solidarity with those in occupied Al-Quds.
