Hezbollah denounced the Israeli occupation forces’ arrest of Al-Mayadeen bureau chief in occupied West Bank Nasser Al-Lahham, the party’s Media Relations Office announced on Monday.
In a statement, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office expressed full solidarity with the Palestinian journalist and Al-Mayadeen TV, as well as “with all the brave journalists and media professionals who work in the midst of danger to convey the truth and confront an enemy that does not hesitate to target and kill them, violating all international conventions and laws.”
It noted that the arrest of Al-Lahham “comes in the context of the ongoing Israeli policy to obliterate truth, silence free voices and block images that expose the occupation’s criminal face and documents its crimes and massacres against civilians in Gaza and the entire region.”

The Media Relations Office called on all media outlets and international and human rights organizations “to condemn this crime and pressure the Israeli enemy by all available means to secure the immediate and unconditional release of our colleague Nasser Al-Lahham.”
Earlier on Monday, Israeli occupation forces detained Al-Lahham after carrying out a pre-dawn raid on his home in Bethlehem, in the southern of West Bank.
