The Israeli newspaper, Maariv, reported that the senior French officials asked the Zionist president Reuven Rivlin during his recent visit to France that ‘Israel’ delay its attack on Lebanon till after the cabinet formation.
The Zionist paper added the French foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told Rivlin that France provided the Lebanese army with weaponry and munitions and that President Emmanuel Macron cancelled his visit to Beirut reflecting his rejection to Hezbollah military role.
