Leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah revolutionary movement Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi denounced Arab and Muslim states for their failure to respond effectively to the Israeli occupation’s deliberate starvation of Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip.
In a televised speech on Sunday, Sayyed Al-Houthi described the tragedy in Gaza as “horrific”, saying that the children in the besieged strip are dying daily from hunger.
The Yemeni official blasted the broader Muslim world for its passivity amid the situation, saying, “Many in Gaza are suffering extreme hunger while surrounded by millions of Arabs and two billion Muslims watching helplessly — as if they were a paralyzed nation.”

He slammed the Arab and Muslim world for its “absence of honor and conscience,” calling its inaction a “shameful disgrace.”
“The terrible extent of the nation’s inaction made the Israeli enemy, along with the US, feel reassured that there would be no reaction, no matter what they did, against the Palestinian people.”

Meanwhile, he stressed that “the correct way to confront the US-Israeli threat is to take serious action based on guidance from the Holy Qur’an and a faith-based approach.”
