Hezbollah issued on Thursday a statement to comment on the Knesset vote on a motion calling for imposing Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank and the Jordan Valley, stressing that the move reflects the colonial and expansionist essence of the Zionist project.
“With every day of this relentless war against the oppressed Palestinian people, as the Zionist killing and criminality increases, and with the continuation of the genocide, siege, and starvation to which the people of Gaza are subjected, Israel’s expansionist policies and plans, along with its Talmudic dreams of achieving the so-called ‘historical homeland of the Jewish people’, are exposed and surface.”
The Zionist Knesset’s vote on a motion calling for imposing Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank and the Jordan Valley is nothing but a reflection of the nature of the expansionist colonial Zionist project, Hezbollah affirmed.
It confirms that this entity persists in its occupation and usurpation of Palestinian land, flouting all international obligations and agreements, proving that these agreements were nothing more than a cover for expanding its occupation and settlement, Judaizing Palestinian land, and liquidating the entire Palestinian cause, the statement added.
“We affirm that disregarding this unchecked monster that is ravaging the nation will only push it to go further and further. It will not stop at the borders of the West Bank, Jerusalem, or Palestine, but rather its plans will encompass the entire region, and no one will be away from these diabolical projects. What is happening in Lebanon and Syria through the ongoing attacks, incursions, and occupation of lands, as well as the aggression against dear Yemen, is nothing but a continuation of these projects.”
Hezbollah, while strongly condemning this decision, affirmed its steadfast and principled support for the Palestinian people in their liberated land.
“It is they who, through their resistance and the arms of their mujahideen, will thwart all Zionist plans.”
Hezbollah held the Arab and Islamic countries, all free peoples, and the free people of the world, responsible for the historical support of the Palestinian people and for working with all their might to thwart these plans that target everyone.
