A plaque holding a Quranic verse on the wall where Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, appeared in a long-awaited interview on Saturday drew the attention of an Israeli commentator.
Shimrit Meir, the founding editor of Israeli Al-Masdar Arabic-language news website, wondered if Sayyed Nasrallah, through the plaque, was hinting at a smooth entry into Palestine.
“To conclude Nasrallah’s affairs tonight is something nice: on the small sign above his head is quoted a verse from the Quran (Surat Al-Hijir) ‘Enter it in peace and security’. Does it hint at a smooth entry into Palestine despite the discovery of the tunnels? Good night,” Meir posted on her Twitter account on Saturday.
