A blast rocked the bordering village of Akkar’s Haisheh near a Syrian refugee camp in Wadi Khaled region at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, National News Agency(NNA) reported.
The explosion left one injured, but the Lebanese Red Cross immediately treated his light injuries.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army boosted its deployment in the area, according to NNA.
Local media outlets cited the Lebanese Red Cross sources as saying that the blast was due to a projectile fired by Syria-based militants.
