The central Syria has been almost liberated from terrorists, while Aleppo Province is already free from them, Col. Gen. Sergei Rudskoi, the chief of the Russian General Staff’s Main Operational Directorate, said.

“The liberation of the central part of Syria from terrorists is nearing its end,” he said.

Rudskoi specified that Aleppo Province has already been completely liberated.

“There have been serious changes in Syria over the past month. The Syrian government troops with the support of the Russian Aerospace Forces achieved serious successes and brought substantial losses to a large group of ISIL in central Syria. The Aleppo province has been fully liberated from terrorists.”
