The Syrian Army Air Force and Artillery on Thursday targeted ISIL positions and fortifications in the surroundings of the Panorama, the Airport, the Cemeteries and al-Thardeh, and the neighborhoods of al-Ummal, the Old Airport, al-Howeiqa and al-Rashdiyeh, al-Taim Badia, Howeijet Saqer, in the surroundings of Talet Brouk, and in the village of Marat in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, killing or injuring a number of terrorists.
SANA reporter said that the army units clashed with ISIL terrorist groups while trying to attack the military posts on the Panorama area roundabout and al-Rashdiyeh and al-Howeiqa neighborhoods in the city of Deir Ezzor, inflicting heavy losses upon ISIL terrorists in personnel and equipment.
Meanwhile, ISIL terrorist organization continued its crime against the citizens of Deir Ezzor, as its terrorists executed a young man in al-Bukamal city and three others in the village of al-Sayyal in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside, according to local sources.
The sources confirmed that one of ISIL commander in Mhaimidiyeh area in the western countryside of the province, nicknamed Abu al-Mughira fled away.
In Homs countryside, the Syrian army and allies intensified their operations to liberate Al-Sukhna area from ISIL terrorists after regaining Arak area.
