Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem indicated that the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza Strip are exposed to American-Israeli aggression, brutality, genocide, starvation, and murder that have exceeded all human and moral standards.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Sheikh Qassem maintained that the global silence constitutes a condemnation of regimes and officials and undermines so-called international law.
It is not enough for twenty-five countries to call for an end to the war against Gaza. This does not excuse their testimony to what is happening, nor does it excuse the support provided by some major powers since the beginning of the aggression. Positions and condemnations do not exonerate their proponents. What is required is for these positions to be transformed into actual measures that halt these massacres and crimes by imposing sanctions on the Israeli entity, isolating it, prosecuting it, and halting all forms of dealing with it.”
“The greatest responsibility falls on the shoulders of Arab and Islamic countries, rulers and peoples,” Sheikh Qassem added, “Choose the positions you want, within the limits that suit you, but do not stand idly by. Stop normalization, close the enemy’s embassies, ban trade, and unite to support Palestine and Gaza, even with the bare minimum of living resources. When America see you as one hand and one voice with the Palestinian people, it will submit and retreat.
“History will record this disgrace against humanity’s leaders and regimes in an era of hateful starvation and mass killing of the starved. The injustice of America and ‘Israel’ will extend to those who remain silent about supporting the oppressed. Know that ‘the wrongdoers will not succeed, and that Israel’s exaggerated brutality and arrogance will be the cause of its horrific downfall, God willing,” Sheikh Qassem concluded.
