Israeli occupation forces carried out on Friday incursions into Lebanese territory in new violations to the ceasefire which ended the brutal Israeli war on November 2024.
Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon Ali Shoeib reported that an Israeli enemy infantry force of 20 soldiers conducted a survey near the eastern bank of the Wazzani River.
“Three soldiers crossed the Blue Line and entered one of the Lebanese parks in the area,” our correspondent added.
Shoeib reported another Israeli incursion in the border town of Mais Al-Jabal, where an Israeli occupation forces infiltrated 500 meters, near the town’s hospital.
“The enemy force wiped out a linen factory and a bulldozer belonging to the South Council,” the correspondent said, noting that the factory was destroyed earlier during the 66-day war in late 2024 and was rebuilt by its owner in a bid to revive the region following the Israeli aggression.
Elsewhere in the border town of Ayta Al-Shaab, the Israeli occupation forces shelled a house at dawn on Friday, according to our correspondent.
Earlier on Thursday, the Israeli enemy staged a drone strike that targeted a civilian car in Khalde, south of the capital, Beirut, leaving one martyr and three injuries. The occupation army also launched a series of strikes on Litani River and outskirts of several towns in South Lebanon and Western Bekaa, in violation of the Lebanese sovereignty and the ceasefire agreement based on the UN Resolution 1701.
