A delegation from the “Loyalty to Resistance” parliamentary bloc, led by Hajj Mohammad Raad, met on Wednesday with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam at the Grand Serail in Beirut to review the latest developments after a period of considerable tensions between the two sides.
After the meeting, MP Raad told the reporters that the discussions were positive, adding that, during the 45-minute meeting, major thorny issues were resolved.
MP Raad underlined that the main priorities of the various Lebanese parties must be the complete Israeli withdrawal from South Lebanon, total halt of the Zionist attacks and violations, liberation of the Lebanese prisoners held by the enemy, and the reconstruction project.
In this regard, MP Raad highlighted an agreement with the premier on a preliminary step on the way of reconstruction, hoping that it paves the way to further achievements.

Hezbollah lawmaker said that Lebanon assumed all its responsibilities pertaining to the ceasefire agreement, adding that the Israeli enemy has continued its attacks and assassinations against the Lebanese southerners in their villages.
Regarding the resistance weaponry, MP Raad indicated that this issue is being discussed with President Joseph Aoun, adding that the protection of the nation is the most important issue in this regard.
After provocative remarks made by PM Salam, Head of Loyalty to Resistance bloc MP Raad abstained from directly responding and preferred to underline the “remaining amiability” in dealing with the premier.
