In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their noble resistance facing the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, the missile force of Yemeni Armed Forces struck a Zionist military target near Ben Gurion airport in the occupied Palestinian city of Jaffa (Tel Aviv) with a “Zulfiqar” ballistic rocket, according to a statement read by the military spokesman General Yahya Sarea before massive crowds at Sanaa’s Sabeen square in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sarea added that the Yemeni Armed Forces have continued confronting the US aggression on Yemen for the second consecutive month, noting that they would escalate against every escalation.
In this regard, the Yemeni military spokesman announced that the missile force, the unmanned air force and the naval forces carried out a dual military operation against the US aircraft carriers Truman and Vinson as well as their affiliate warships with a number of drones and cruise missiles.
Sarea noted that this would be the first targeting against Vinson aircraft carrier since its arrival to the Arabian Sea.
According to the statement, the Yemeni defenses shot down a US MQ-9 military drone while carrying hostile actions over Sanaa, adding that this would be the fifth similar operation in three weeks and the 20th since the start of Battle of the Promised Victory and the Holy Jihad in support of Gaza.
The statement concluded by affirming that the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue supporting Gaza until the Israeli enemy stops its aggression and lifts its siege on the Strip, adding that all the US military buildup and aggression on Yemen will lead to more confrontations only.
“The enemy will reap nothing but defeat.”
