Head of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi stressed on Friday that the US aggression on Yemen will fail to stop the Yemeni maritime operations and rocketry attacks on the Zionist entity.
Delivering a speech to mark International Al-Quds Day, Sayyed Houthi affirmed that the recent US escalation is aimed at singling out Palestine by targeting all the parties that supported Gaza.
Even Iran is being pressed and threatened, he added.
Houthi emphasized that “the Yemeni people’s stance is firm,” and declared that “the bombing operations against the Zionist entity will continue,” noting that “the Israeli occupation is complaining about the United States’ inability to prevent them.”
US aircraft launched approximately 71 airstrikes during the 24 past hours across several regions in Yemen, including the capital, Sanaa, using highly explosive bombs. Yemeni media outlets reported that two strikes targeted Sanaa International Airport, while another hit the northern outskirts of the city. These areas, previously targeted in prior raids, suggest a deliberate effort to intimidate local residents.
Meanwhile, Yemeni crowds effectively marked International Al-Quds Day, announced by the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Ruhollah Khomeini to be every last Friday of the Holy Month of Ramadan, taking into streets and squares to affirm commitment to Palestinian cause.
