The Israeli enemy launched on Saturday night a second wave of air raids on several cities and towns in South Lebanon and Bekaa under the pretext of responding to the alleged missile fire at Metula settlement earlier in the morning.
In a treacherous and barbaric manner, the Zionist war jets started their attacks during the Iftar meal which ends the day-long fasting of the Muslims, targeting residential buildings.
In South Lebanon, the Zionist air raids targeted Zibqin, Kfarmilki, Aishiyeh, Deir Qanoun, Roumin, Houmin Al-Fawqa, and Deir Al-Zahrani outskirts as well as Iqlim Al-Tuffah Heights. Tyre City sacrificed one martyr and nine injuries in a Zionist airstrike on a parked car in Cadeaux Slim area.
An Israeli air raid targeted an inhabited house in Al-Qlayle town, leaving three injuries. Another air raid targeted Zaksakiyeh town, with no casualties recorded.
In Bekaa, the Israeli air raids targeted Al-Nabi Sheet and Hosh Al-Sayyed Ali towns in addition to Sir’een plain, leaving a number of injuries.
The Israeli enemy launched earlier on Saturday a series of heavy air strikes on several areas across southern Lebanon, leaving casualties including martyrs, in a new aggression on the Arab country despite the ceasefire deal which took effect in late November 2024.
Lebanese Health Ministry’s Emergency Operations Center announced, in an updated report, that the strike in Touline claimed lives of five citizens, including a girl, and wounded 11 others.
