Palestinian prisoners and Israeli captives were released on Saturday as part of the sixth batch of the sap deal between the Israeli occupation and Palestinian resistance, with the Zionist regime trying to emulate Hamas’ handover ceremonies by changing the release clothes of the Palestinian prisoners.
Freed Israeli captives crossed back into the occupied territories on Saturday morning after being paraded on a stage in southern Gaza in a handover ceremony by the Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance groups.
One of the captives, who was held by the Islamic Jihad, was the first to emerge from a vehicle and be led onto the stage. The two others being held by Hamas were then brought up.
On stage all three Israeli captives gave short speeches in Hebrew, urging the Israeli government to continue with the next phase of the captive-ceasefire deal and to release all the remaining hostages.

The masked resistance fighters handed the three Israeli captives commemorative gifts during their release ceremony, something Palestinian resistance group has done in all previous releases. The three captives were also seen holding a release certificate as well as an embroidery showing a map of the borders of Palestine, before being handed over to the Red Cross.
In exchange of the Israeli captives, the Israeli occupation was Saturday set to release 369 Palestinian prisoners, including 36 serving life sentences. The remaining 333 were detained in Gaza after October 7, over the course of the war.

Before their release released from Ofer Prison, circulated footage showed dozens of Palestinian detainees dressed in shirts bearing the Star of David and the slogan “We will never forget, we will never forgive,” referring to Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7th, 2023.
