The US President Donald Trump commented on the media reports which mentioned that US would withdraw US troops from Syria, saying that a “determination” would be made on that issue.

Trump, when asked about the Israeli media reports that he will withdraw US troops from Syria, said: “I don’t know who said that, but we’ll make a determination on that. We’re not getting, we’re not involved in Syria. Syria is in its own mess. They’ve got enough messes over there. They don’t need us involved”

White House officials had reportedly conveyed a message to ‘Israel’ that Trump is looking to withdraw American troops from Syria.

Trump’s plan “is raising grave concerns” in ‘Israel’, the Israeli public broadcaster Kan said, in an article on Tuesday.

There are also fears among Kurdish armed groups in Syria of aggression by Türkiye if the American withdrawal occurs, Kan reported.
