In a closed-door session of the Iranian Parliament, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reaffirmed Iran’s unwavering commitment to the overthrow of the Zionist regime despite the fall of the Syrian government.
“We have not been weakened and Iran’s power has not diminished,” Major General Hossein Salami was quoted as telling lawmakers, according to details shared by the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee spokesperson, Ebrahim Rezaei.
“The overthrow of the Zionist regime is not off the agenda,” Salami said, underscoring Iran’s determination to pursue this longstanding objective.
During the parliamentary session, which focused on Iran’s military strategies in the region, recent Israeli operations, and Iran’s counteroperations, Salami spoke twice to summarize the key points.
