Hezbollah condemned on Monday the terrorist blast which targeted the metro system in the Russian city of St. Petersburg and claimed dozens of innocent civilians, offering condolences to the Russian leadership, the victims’ families and all the Russians on the painful incident.

In a statement, Hezbollah considered that the blast is an episode in the series of terror which threatens the whole world and is being fought by Russia in Syria and elsewhere.

This asserts the need for global unified measures against the terrorists as well as their funders, protectors and idiologists behind their crimes, the statement added.

Hezbollah also stressed standing by the Russian state and people during this catastrophe, which “will fail to weaken Russia’s resolution to confront all the forms of terror.”
