Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei expressed on Wednesday deep sadness on martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, noting that he will talk about Lebanon and Gaza later.
“We are in mourning period. Personally, I feel really deep sadness because it is a great loss. The tragedy which took place was not something small. The loss of Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah is very important, and it truly grieves us.” Imam Khamenei told a group of Iranian elites, and top scientific figures in Imam Khomeini Hussainya.
His eminence said that he will talk about the issues of Sayyed Nasrallah loss, Lebanon and Gaza soon, according to Iranian media.
The Leader stressed, meanwhile, that regional problems stem from the presence of the United States and some European countries who are false claimants of peace and tranquility.
“If they withdraw this region, without a doubt, these conflicts, wars, and clashes will disappear completely. The countries of the region can manage themselves, manage their region, live together in peace, health, and well-being.”
The root of the problem in our region, these conflicts and wars, is the presence of those who claim to advocate peace in the region. That is, the United States and some European countries.
