Israeli airstrikes in Yemen’s port city of Hudaydah resulted in the deaths of three civilians and left 90 injured, according to the Yemeni health ministry.
The attack targeted oil storage facilities and a power plant in the country’s south. The Israeli occupation army confirmed the strike, with a spokesman for the Ansarallah resistance movement condemning the attack as an attempt to pressure Yemen to stop supporting Gaza.
Human Rights Watch [HRW] on Monday denounced last month’s ‘Israeli’ airstrikes on the Hodeidah port as a “possible war crime.”
“The attacks appeared to cause disproportionate harm to civilians and civilian objects,” the New York-based rights group said.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israeli offensives in Gaza come to an end.
‘Israel’ launched its brutal campaign of genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, after Palestinian resistance groups conducted a surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm into the occupied territories.
The regime has had in place a near-total siege on the coastal territory, which has reduced to a trickle the flow of foodstuffs, medicine, electricity, and water into the Palestinian territory.
