Locals in the West Bank are taking a stand against Israeli raids in their towns, with confrontations erupting in Ya’bad and Tulkarm. Palestinian resistance fighters fought back against Israeli occupation forces, firing upon military vehicles in Tulkarm.
Despite Israeli attempts to oppress Palestinians in the West Bank, support for Gaza remains strong. The number of operations against the Israeli occupation has been increasing, with hundreds occurring since the beginning of the year.
In Tulkarm, Israeli occupation forces raided the city and surrounding areas.
Two Israeli military vehicles raided the city from its southern entrance before heading to the Thanaba suburb.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Resistance fighters from the al-Quds Brigades – Tulkarm Brigade fired their automatic weapons at the Israeli vehicles that arrived in the suburb.
The vehicles patrolled the area before withdrawing. No arrests were reported by local media during the incident.
However, two Palestinians were arrested in the Tulkarm governorate while they passed through an Israeli checkpoint.
