ESCWA Executive Secretary Rima Khalaf resigned and rejected withdrawing her report which condemns ‘Israel’ as a racist entity.

Khalaf called on ESCWA member states to penalize ‘Israel’, stressing that the report has a legal authority and can never be withdrawn.

Khalaf added that heavy funding pressures are being exerted on the United Nations by some countries which violate the international laws.
