American and British Forces have reportedly targeted the Ras Issa area in Hodeidah Governorate, the main oil export station in western Yemen. According to the Yemeni Al-Masirah channel, this aggression comes just a day after the US Central Command, (Centcom), announced that a Yemeni missile hit an oil transport ship, causing damage but sparing the crew.
The ballistic missile strike was directed at the oil tanker “Marlin Luanda,” which flies the flag of the Marshall Islands. The ship reported no casualties, but significant damage, prompting coalition ships to provide assistance to its crew. Yemen’s Armed Forces Spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, declared that their naval forces achieved a direct hit on the British oil ship in the Gulf of Aden, causing it to burn. Saree emphasized that this retaliation was in response to the “American-British aggression against Yemen” and stood as a victory for the Palestinian people.

The armed forces of Yemen have made it clear that they will take all necessary military measures to defend their country and express solidarity with the Palestinian people. The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority reported hearing an explosion and witnessing missiles near a ship located about 60 nautical miles from Hodeidah. Additionally, a British maritime security company, “Embry,” confirmed the launching of a missile in the southeast direction in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
The US Central Command confirmed that an anti-ship ballistic missile was launched from Yemen toward the destroyer USS Carney in the Gulf of Aden. Furthermore, a spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces revealed that a recent clash had occurred with several American destroyers and warships, resulting in a direct hit on an American warship and the retreat of two American commercial ships.
This recent aggression against Yemen, coordinated by the United States of America and Britain with support from other countries, has faced repeated failures in deterring the Yemeni armed forces. Yemen’s armed forces remain resolute, vowing to respond and punish any attacks without hesitation.32
