Hamas has urged a thorough investigation into the executions of Palestinian civilians by Israeli occupation forces. The group says to have collected testimonies indicating that 137 innocent civilians, including elderly individuals, were executed since the beginning of the Israeli invasion.
The disturbing details provided by Hamas state that the Israeli occupation army dug a massive pit east of Gaza City. This pit served as a holding area for detainees before they were mercilessly executed, after which the pit was filled. The inhumane actions described by Hamas paint a heartbreaking picture of the suffering endured by Palestinian families.
Adding to the gravity of the situation, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has now released a report stating that Israeli forces executed dozens of elderly Palestinians in front of their loved ones. These executions reportedly took place after the victims were falsely assured by the Israeli forces that it was safe to evacuate.
Tragically, the report highlights that a total of 1,049 elderly individuals have lost their lives in the ongoing conflict, accounting for 3.9% of the overall Palestinian death toll since October 7. Many of these elderly victims were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes, with their homes collapsing over them or while attempting to gather essential supplies.
However, the most horrifying revelation from the Euro-Med testimonies is that dozens of elderly Palestinians were specifically targeted and executed by Israeli occupation forces. These field executions further highlight the monstrous actions taken by the Israeli occupation forces.
Hamas and human rights organizations are now calling for an urgent investigation into these executions, demanding justice for the innocent lives lost. The international community is being urged to take immediate action to address the atrocities committed against Palestinian civilians, particularly the elderly population, in the ongoing conflict.
