On the 69th day of the Israeli war on Gaza, the Palestinian resistance is engaging in epic battles against the Israeli occupation forces across the besieged enclave’s frontlines.
On Thursday morning, the Israeli occupation army announced the death of additional soldiers in Gaza, taking the death toll of the ground battles to 116.
This comes as Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas resistance movement, announced that resistance fighters targeted 4 Israeli Merkavas and 4 vehicles in Sheikh Radwan Neighborhood with Yassine-105 projectiles. The group declared that its fighters other two tanks in the neighborhoods of Zeitoun and Shujaiya.
“Upon returning from frontlines, our fighters notified the leadership that they targeted an Israeli infantry force in Hasanein Street,” Al-Qassam said, adding that at least 10 Israeli soldiers were killed as resistance fighters targeted them with high-explosive bombs.
Al-Qassam also published videos showing resistance fighters confronting the Israeli aggression in the Zeitoun neighborhood and in Khan Yunis.
For its part, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad resistance movement, reported fierce clashes at dawn on Thursday with Israeli occupation forces in the neighborhoods of Zeitoun, Shujaiya and Sheikh Radwan.
The group added that its fighters pounded the Sofa Israeli outpost in Gaza envelope, targeting gatherings of Israeli troops stationed there.
Shujaiya Ambush
Meanwhile, the echoes of the heroic ambush that killed at least 10 Israeli soldiers in Gaza’s Shujaiya is still resounding.
Israeli media quoted the occupation army as saying: “In many incidents, the Israeli army was surprised by the quantity and the complexity of the explosives and traps established by Hamas fighters in Gaza.”
Israel Hayom Hebrew-language newspaper, on its part, described the Shujaiya neighborhood as “unbreakable”, reporting that fierce clashes are still ongoing there.
Indiscriminate Bombardment
On the other hand, the indiscriminate bombing of Palestinian neighborhoods went on, with overnight Israeli strikes killed dozens in several areas, including the southern city of Rafah.
Of the notable massacres which took place early on Thursday, two residential buildings have been destroyed in Israeli air raids on southern Gaza’s Rafah, killing at least 27 and injuring many others.
A residential block was also targeted by Israeli strike in Jabalia, in norther Gaza Strip.

Palestinian Health Ministry put the death toll of the Israeli aggression at 18,608.
Kamal Adwan Hospital Siege
The Israeli occupation forces went ahead with the siege of Kamal Adwan Hospital. The Head of Pediatric Department in the facility said on Thursday that Israeli occupation gave the staff 10-minute ultimatum to evacuate facility.
The IOF have prevented medical staff from providing care to 10 injured people in the emergency unit, causing two of them to die, said Dr Ashraf al-Qudra, spokesman for the Health Ministry in Gaza.
Al-Qudra said, in a statement on Telegram, that soldiers forced the medical staff to gather all the injured people and the infants in the neonatal department on the second floor, and cut off food, water and electricity.
Earlier on Wednesday, the IOF detained the director of the facility and about 70 other medical staff in an unknown location outside of the hospital.
