Hezbollah denied on Friday any of its officials has given remarks to Reuters news agency regarding the speeches of the Party’s Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah this week.
“Hezbollah would like to remind that its well-known media policy does not ever use the “source” writing style,” said a statement issued by the group’s Media Relations office late on Friday.
The statement referred to an article published by Reuters on Friday that attributed the “harsh words” of Sayyed Nasrallah towards US President Donald Trump and the Zionist entity to a strategy by Hezbollah aimed at “drawing red lines” for the new administration in Washington.
“Concerning what Reuters has included in its article commenting on Sayyed Nasrallah speech… We assure that any of our officials has made remarks regarding this issue,” Hezbollah statement added.
