Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei lauded on Tuesday the massive offensive staged by the Gaza-based resistance, Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, as a “devastating cataclysm” that “dealt unrepairable blow” to the Zionist entity.
Addressing the joint graduation ceremony for the cadets studying in the academies of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces, paid tribute to the masterminds of Saturday’s surprise attack which killed more than 900 Israelis and injured over 2,700 others so far.
“Operation Al-Aqsa Flood dealt unrepairable blow to the Israeli military and intelligence,” the Leader said in remarks carried by Al-Manar.
His eminence described the events the Zionist entity witnessed during the last few days as “devastating cataclysm.”
Imam Khamenei praised those who masterminded the offensive, which saw hundreds of Palestinian fighters infiltrating the Israeli settlements bordering Gaza.
“We kiss the foreheads and the forearms of the Palestinian youth and those innovators who planned the operation.”
In this context, the Leader stressed that those who staged the attack are Palestinians, denying that Iran was involved in the operation.
“Those who say that the operation was carried out by non-Palestinians have miscalculated.”
“When cruelty and crime exceed the limits, one should await the storm,” Imam Khamenei said, addressing the Israeli enemy.
“You have brought this disaster upon yourselves,” his eminence stressed.
The Leader noted that “the oppressive and malicious Israeli enemy is playing the victim,” affirming, meanwhile, that “no one can give this demonic beast an oppressed face.”
