The Lebanese caretaker minister of culture, Mohammad Al-Murtada, criticized the Arab media for adopting certain terms coined in the West without approaching their true meaning.
Al-Murtada stressed that “normalization” refers to restoring the normal situation of a certain entity, adding that this means that the entire Palestinian territories return to the Palestinians, and the Arabs regain their agreement on their affiliation with the Orient, the area of coexistence.
“Isn’t this the normal situation of the region?”
Hosting Al-Manar Website’s Director, Diaa Abu Taam, Al-Murtada added that the demise of the Arab civilization will be inevitable if Zionism persists.
The minister of culture underscored the importance of commitment to the national identity in Lebanon, noting that resistance and struggle spring from the Lebanese principle of freedom.
Al-Murtada highlighted the war against our awareness, calling on the media outlets to fortify the viewer by reinforcing his knowledge that faces deception and dishonesty.
It is worth noting that Dr. Abu Taam presented a copy of his book titled Establishing the Media Identity.
Al-Murtada reported the meeting via Twitter, hailing the book as a reference for confronting the soft warfare launched against our society.
