Four Syrian soldiers were martyred and one another was wounded on Saturday in a new Israeli aggression on some positions in the central and coastal regions in the Arab country.
SANA news agency quoted a military source as saying that casualties were reported after an aerial aggression early on Saturday.
“Nearly at 6:30 Saturday morning, the Israeli enemy carried out an aggression over the Mediterranean from the direction of Banyas, targeting some points in the central and coastal regions,” the military source said, according to SANA.
The source said that Syria’s air defenses intercepted the missile aggression, adding that 4 soldiers were martyred and one another was injured.
Material damage was reported due to the aggression, according to SANA.
Earlier this month, two Syrian soldiers were martyred and three others were wounded in an Israeli aggression on al-Sha’ayrat airport in Homs countryside, on November 13.
