People in the Iranian capital of Tehran held a mass rallies to denounce foreign-orchestrated riots in the country.
Iranians held big rallies in thran following Friday prayers to denounce foreign-backed recent riots in some cities in the country in which several security forces were killed.
The marchers announced their anger at the violent actions by the rioters, who have also torched some police stations as well as burned copies of the holy Quran and Iranian flags.
During the rally, demonstrators chanted slogans against those who broke the Islamic laws, Mehr news agency reported.
The rate of attendance at this week’s Friday Prayers was significantly large as the people of Tehran filled different streets in downtown in the pro-Establishment demonstration.
Despite the heat, thousands of people were around Tehran University an hour before Friday prayers and were waiting for the start of the march.
Similar protests have been held in other cities across the country in protest against the destructive and violent actions committed by the western-backed rioters.
