Lebanon recorded on Tuesday 930 new coronavirus cases and 24 related deaths, Ministry of Public Health announced.
911 new infections were recorded among local residents, while the other 19 cases were imported, the ministry said in its daily report, putting the total infections nationwide since February 2020 to 527,508.
24 new fatalities were registered over the past 24 hours, raising the nationwide death toll to 7,302, the ministry stated.
It put the number of active cases at 19,005. The ministry added that 13,798 PCR tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, including 3,731 at Beirut International Airport.
1,280 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours, including 582 at the ICU rooms, 171 of whom are on ventilators, the report added.
