Fires continued to blaze across the Zionist entity for the fifth consecutive day on Saturday.
Israeli media reported that three Israelis were seriously injured in a fire in the so-called settlement of Ma’ale Adumim.
Elsewhere in the West Bank settlement of Halamish, 350 Israelis were evacuated following a blaze that also destroyed 15 houses and damaged 25 more.
In Nataf, an Israeli settlement in al-Quds (Jerusalem) that was hit hard by the fire, Israeli firefighters managed to contain the flames, pushing them back down the mountain and away from settlements. However, due to the dry and windy weather conditions, there are fears new blazes would spread, Israeli daily, Haaretz reported.
The Associated Press reported that overall more than 40 houses have been burned the occupied territories and at least 1000 Israelis have been evacuated.
The blazes began four days ago near al-Quds. Backed by dry, windy weather, they later spread elsewhere. The most devastating fire hit Haifa.
