Lebanon registered on Saturday 662 new coronavirus infections and 7 virus-related deaths.
In its daily report, Ministry of Public Health announced that 656 cases were registered among residents in Lebanon while the other 6 infections were registered among expats coming to the country from abroad.
Seven coronavirus-related death were recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the nationa death toll to 155, the ministry said.
It noted that 9,342 PCR were conducted in the last 24 hours, including 7,782 tests at local laboratories while the other 1,560 tests were conducted at Beirut International Airport.
The ministry added, meanwhile, that 316 patients have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours, including 91 at Intensive Care Units.
The number of nationwide infections since February reached 16,275, while the recovery cases reached surpassed 4,450.
