US Secretary of State John Kerry announced on Tuesday that warring sides in Yemen agreed to a ceasefire.
Kerry, who is in Oman for talks on Yemen, said that a tentative agreement on a ceasefire in Yemen will take effect starting from November 17.
Kerry meanwhile, added that the warring sides in Yemen agreed to form a national unity government by the end of this year.
Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.
Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive ex-president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
