The US-led coalition downed a Syrian army jet in the southern Raqqa countryside during a Syrian combat mission against ISIL Takfiri terrorists, the Syrian army said Sunday. The plane crashed and the pilot’s whereabouts were still unknown, the army statement read. It said the incident took place Sunday afternoon.
