Qaeda terrorist group granted the members of its branch in Syria, Nusra Front, the freedom to select the organizational choice that suits them.
The international terrorist group’s deputy chief Ahmad Al-Hasan Abu al-Kheir conveyed the order to Nusra via a voice message.
A number of media reports mentioned that Nusra Front chief Abu Mohammad al-Jolani was about to withdraw his group’s allegiance to Qaeda and that he refrained from implementing the order for fear of assassination.
Nusra Front is considered one of the key terrorist groups in Syria fighting the national army and committing atrocities across the country since the inception of the crisis in 2011.
