The Israeli occupation forces have launched a new wave of aggression and violence across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem in recent days, terrorizing Palestinian communities with a surge in home demolitions, raids, searches, arrests, and attacks on residents and property.
On Monday, Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian home in the town of Bruqin west of Salfit, while continuing their relentless raids on Bruqin and the nearby town of Kafr ad-Dik for the fifth straight day. Another home was cruelly demolished in the village of Shuqba west of Ramallah.

Seven more Palestinians were detained in Bethlehem – Musa Awad, Anas Muhammad Abu Ahour, Muhammad Khaled Abu Ammar, Muhammad Raed Abayat, Khalil Hassan al-Nabhan, Shadi Muhammad al-Hashlamoun and Ammar Ali Taqatqa, after occupation forces stormed and ransacked their families’ residences in the town of Beit Fajjar.
In occupied East Jerusalem, Asem Idris Hamouda was arrested in his hometown of al-Qubayba as Israeli forces raided more homes in Beit Anan.

This dangerous escalation of Israeli military aggression and collective punishment against Palestinians in the West Bank comes in tandem with the ongoing bombardment and slaughter Israel is inflicting on the besieged Gaza Strip.
Demolitions in the Negev
The occupation also demolished approximately 16 homes in the village of al-Sir in the Negev, in southern occupied Palestine, under the pretext of “building without a permit.”

It should be noted that the occupation deprives homes in most villages in the Negev of water and electricity networks. These networks were established in 40 villages prior to 1948, and the occupation is working to end their existence.
