Hezbollah condemned in a statement on Monday the attack on the monument of President Joseph Aoun in Jarmaq-Aishiyeh area, South Lebanon.
Hezbollah considered that “this suspicious attack is a seditious act, especially at this sensitive time, as the country prepares for a pivotal day represented by the entitlement of the Israeli withdrawal from the South.”
Hezbollah pointed out that “this condemned behavior strongly contradicts the values and principles that Hezbollah believes in and were embodied by the Master of the Martyrs of the Nation, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah.
It also contradicts Martyr Sayyed Nasrallah’s approach and convictions.
Hezbollah stressed its condemnation of this act that seeks to harm the relationship with the President of the Republic,” and called for “thwarting all suspicious attempts to destabilize the nation.
