Imam Khamenei accused the US of arrogantly attempting to “redraw the map of the world,” dismissing such rhetoric as empty posturing. However, he made it plain that Iran will defend its sovereignty at all costs. “If they threaten us, we will threaten them in return. If they carry out their threat, we will act on ours. If they attack our nation’s security, we will attack their security without hesitation.”
