Seven civilians were left injured as Israeli aggression targeted multiple sites in central Syria. The Syrian air defenses intercepted the aggression’s missiles and shot down some of them.
A Syrian military source reported, “At around 7:35 pm today, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of northern Lebanon, targeting several sites in the central region. Our air defense systems confronted the aggression’s missiles and shot down some of them.”
The attack resulted in civilian injuries and material losses, with explosions heard in northern Bekaa, Lebanon. The Syrian military condemned the aggression as a violation of its sovereignty.
Earlier this month, on August 9, Israeli occupation forces launched an airstrike from northern Lebanon, targeting several military positions in Syria’s central region, namely Homs.
According to a Syrian military source, the attack resulted in the injury of four soldiers and caused limited material damage.
