Hezbollah’s video which shows the group’s underground missile facility has send several messages to the Israeli enemy in a time of high tensions, sources told Al-Manar on Friday.
“This facility is as giant as a city and it is known neither where it begins, where it ends, nor what it is connected to,” sources within Hezbollah’s Military Media said.
The footage “demonstrates the extremely excellent secrecy and protection of the missile facility,” the sources added.
Meanwhile, the facility, located deep underground, “is not only far from enemy intelligence capabilities but also provides protection against being targeted by the enemy,” according to the sources.

“The location’s secrecy and fortification keep Hezbollah’s missile capabilities away from any preemptive Israeli strike,” the sources stated shortly after the four-and-a-half-minute video was published.
“The facility’s name ‘Imad 4’ suggests that it is one of a series of facilities whose actual number is unknown,” the sources noted.
On the other hand, the footage “shows that the resistance has the second-strike capability as known in Strategic Science.”
“The Islamic Resistance’s powers, especially the missile capabilities, are in full readiness to defend Lebanon,” the sources stressed.
Israeli Media Alarmed
On the other hand, the video raised eyebrows in Tel Aviv, with Israeli media describing it as “unusual” and “dangerous”.
“The tunnels appear to be part of an underground network that, along with missiles, contains lighting, technology, and computers,” The Jerusalem Post reported, adding: “The space within the tunnels is vast and contains enough room for several trucks and motorcycles to pass.”
For its part, Yedioth Ahronoth said that “Hezbollah has released an unusual video: Trucks carrying missiles inside huge tunnels.”
“The giant tunnels appear to be equipped with computers and lighting. The size and depth of the facility easily allow trucks and, for sure, motorcycles to pass through,” the Hebrew daily added.
Maariv newspaper commented by saying: “Hezbollah unveils, for the first time, an underground city with trucks holding rocket launchers appearing in the video.”
