The air defense forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces successfully shot down a US MQ-9 drone while it was conducting hostile activities over Saada Governorate in Yemen.
According to the group’s spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the operation was carried out using a locally-made surface-to-air missile. General Saree noted that this drone is the seventh of its kind to be downed during the ongoing “Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad” operations in support of Gaza.
The Yemeni military media released footage of the wreckage of the American MQ-9 drone:

Brigadier General Saree also noted that, as part of the fourth phase of escalation focused on maritime operations, the Yemeni Navy and missile force carried out a joint military operation targeting the “Groton” vessel in the Gulf of Aden. Several ballistic missiles were used in the operation. General Saree confirmed that this operation was conducted after the company owning the vessel violated the ban on entry to the ports of occupied Palestine.

The Yemeni Armed Forces also praised the valiant Palestinian resistance in Gaza for 300 days of fortitude, heroism, and sacrifice in defense of their homeland, pride, and dignity, as well as in support of their holy sites. “We will continue our military operations through various stages of escalation until the aggression ceases and the siege on the Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted,” the brigadier general vowed.
