A reporter working for Sky News was fact-checked by a resident in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh) during a live broadcast after the Israeli aggression on a residential area on Tuesday.
The resident valiantly interrupted the reported who described Hezbollah operatives as militias, by saying: “They are not militias, they are freedom fighters! They are fighting to defend us. Stop calling them militias.”

The video went viral on social media, with users praising the young man for rejecting the biased claims by mainstream Western media.
The Sky News reporter was covering the Israeli aerial aggression on Dahiyeh which killed at least 4 Lebanese citizens and injured 74 others, as announced by the Lebanese Health Ministry.
