Hezbollah announced its Ashura slogan for this year, “Are We Not on the Righteous Path?”
The slogan is derived from Ali Al-Akbar (a.s.), the son of Imam Hussein (a.s.) who told his father in Karbala on the day of Ashura: “Are we not on the righteous path?”
Imam Hussein then replied in the affirmative. Ali Al-Akbar then said: “Then we don’t care about death.”
Ashura comes this year amid the brutal Israeli war on Gaza, and amid other fronts in Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq in support of the beseiged territory.
Hezbollah has been since October 8, 2023 staging anti-Israeli strikes on the Zionist entity’s north in support of Gaza. More than 360 Hezbollah fighters have embraced martyrdom All the Way to Al-Quds, a naming which Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah had announced for Mujahedeen who fall in the Lebanese front.
The photo, circulated on social media and posted by Al-Manar, shows Hezbollah Martyrs All the Way to Al-Quds with the Ashura slogan “Are We Not on the Righteous Path?”
