At least ten civilians, including a woman and a child, lost their lives in Israeli air and artillery strikes on Gaza. The strikes targeted homes in central Gaza and tents housing displaced people in western Rafah, southern Gaza.

Reports from local sources revealed that Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Al-Barka area of Deir al-Balah, resulting in the deaths of a woman and a child, as well as injuries to several others, including children. In a separate attack in the same city, two additional civilians were killed following an airstrike on a home in Al-Bi’a Street.

In Rafah, artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli occupation forces targeted tents sheltering displaced people in the Shakush area, causing more civilian injuries. Tragically, earlier in the night, Israeli occupation forces directed their fire at civil defense crews in the Nuseirat camp, resulting in the deaths of three civil defense personnel and multiple injuries.

The ongoing Israeli aggression, which began on October 7th, has now led to a death toll of 37,765 in Gaza, with the majority being children and women. The number of injuries has climbed to 86,429, with many individuals still trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian resistance continued confronting the Zionist aggression on Gaza, inflicting more losses on the enemy troops.

In this regard, Al-Quds Brigades stated that its fighters detonated a Zionist military vehicle with a ground mine and engaged in fierce clashes at point-blank range with enemy infantry forces, resulting in fatalities and injuries among them on the hill of Al-Muntar and its surroundings east of Shuja’iyya.

Al-Quds Brigade also bombarded the invading Zionist soldiers and vehicles in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, with a barrage of mortar shells, destroying a Zionist military vehicle by detonating a ground mine — previously planted — on Baghdad Street near the Al-Tawansi Cemetery.
