As Eid al-Adha, a time of celebration and sacrifice, arrived in Gaza, the people were left without the ability to partake in their annual traditions. The ongoing Israeli aggression over the past 254 days has destroyed homes, mosques, and markets, leaving the people with nothing to celebrate.

Shops remain closed, and the people are unable to purchase sacrificial animals, turning to charitable organizations for help.
Amidst the chaos, the families of martyrs, wounded, and captives are facing an especially difficult Eid. With over 10,000 wounded individuals awaiting treatment outside of Gaza, the reopening of the Rafah crossing is desperately needed.
